Hi!
It's me again! ^^
Been busy the last few days, but in a very good sense. I managed to catch up with my friends and was able to help many people. I love it when I know why I do the job I do!
I hung out with Miyuki the other day, which was really cool. Made me get my mind off things and relax. I even had a small flirt that day. ~_^
And a hangove rthe next morning. Good thing that I didn't have to work. Instead I cured my hangover and went sky-diving with someone I hadn't seen in a long time. Didn't think I would see him either, but it was nonetheless a great expierience.
Yes, this is coming from an emergency doctor.
You probably thought we're all boring as fish and too carefull to be fun, admit it. Well, we're not. I enjoy the ocassional thrill a lot.And yes, alright. I triple-check the equipment, satisfied?
Anyway.
I got home during the afternoon and soon afterwards Yuushi had called. Obviously he read my journal. Heh. We were picking at each other for the next half an hour. It was a great feeling!
And I'm invited next week for dinner. I'm looking forward to it, but before that I should really visit my folks. They don't say it, but I know they'd like me to visit more often. And honestly? I should. Maybe sometime this weekend when I'm not on duty.
Speaking of duty, I just arrived at work and started my shift. Our paramedic is already here, so coffee was freshly made! ~_^ I have already poured myself a cup and seeing that nothing significant is happening and I'm alone in our ready room, I decided I'd update this. The radio is on and it keeps reminding me of Yuushi's call-in show I listened to the other day. I swear, I couldn't stop snickering untill two hours after he went off.
Don't misunderstand me, I'm sure he takes his work seriously and all, and I don't take the troubles of the pople lightly. Relationship troubles are bad. One of the most common reasons for suicide attempts. Which are a really sad and serious business here at the ER.
It's just that, it's hard for me to stay serious, while listening to someone I have known for my entire life giving relationship advice. Don't ask me why.
However, it had really made my day.
I have to listen to that show more often. Besides, Yuushi is a really good advisor. I know. Don't tell him I said that, though.
Oh and something else! My cousin is obviously getting married! No, not Yuushi! His sister, Erina-chan! ^^
I'm really happy for her, though now I have to endure the army of aunts and uncles which will want to poke me into the cheek, regardless that I'm an adult man and honorable doctor. Ah well. Aunts.
Besides, Yuushi will encounter the same fate, so that gives me at lest a bit of satisfaction. Mwuhahahahaaaaa~
I'll probably need a date, does anyone feel up for it?
... Though, this is probably not the best way to ask, is it? No? Thought so.
Oh well. I'll have to think of in front of who I'll be the least embarassed, when an aunt appears next to my side and starts her assault. v_v
Miyuki? Would you? I don't think I can ask anyone else who's resistant enough to the insanity of crazy families. Besides, I really think the aunts will love you ~_^
Ah, the paramedic's back, I better end this.
Not that I'd mind him reading this, but I prefer talking to people who are in the room instead of ignoring them. ~_^
So, untill then!

It would be nice to feel that kind of speed. Maybe I'll drag Shinji along. It would be fun to push him out of a plane.
((ooc: Possibly worth mentioning Kamio had a leg injury a few years ago and now can't really run anymore. So he'll be a bit jealous of Kenya!))

But to be fair, I would never live it down if you beat me. Actually, I doubled my speed training so that it doesn't happen, so don't beat yourself up for it. Besides, you were by far the fastest oponent I ever had!
You should absolutely! And the view's also totally worth it. Though, for a moment you actually kind off sounded like you haven't had a nice fast run for quite a while? No one worth the challenge or did something happen?
[OOC: Right, I read that in your contact info, I think! Thank you for reminding me! I almost made Kenya invite Kamio for a run.]

It would be nice to literally be on top of the world. I, uh...don't really do too much running these days. Had a "holiday accident".
((ooc: Kamio would have smiled sadly if he'd been invited out for a run! Though maybe they should? He does physiotherapy (more than he probably should since he's stubborn and determined) and he can do a bit of jogging...if Kenya could stand going slowly! XD))

Injury, huh? If you need, I know a good physiotherapist, he does real wonders sometimes. And he doesn't even charge as much.
Actually, I don't run as much as I used to, only when I'm in a hurry. I get enough speed at work now. I took up jogging a few years ago, though. I'd invite you, if you're so far in your rehab.
[OOC: Yeah, right speed star and slow down. xDDDD
Seriously though, I think Kenya has matured enough to slow down when needed. And with the rushed life he leads, he actually does slow down deliberately on more occassions. He still loves speed, but he gets enough of it, so he doesn't need it as much as he did when he was a teenager. The hormones calmed down, you could say. ;) ]

I flew in physios from all over the world. It was an interesting injury, landmines don't tend to take prisoners. I was fortunate enough with my surgeon but getting the leg back to running standard hasn't been as easy as I'd have liked. if you know of someone I haven't tried yet I'd pay them a years salary for one session if it helps.
((ooc: Yes, Kamio will be well aware how painful it would be for Kenya! XD Kamio gets his speed hit with his fancy cars these days - he should take Kenya on a ride and show him proper speed! ))
no subject
Sounds really nasty. I'll give you his number! You can say you have it form me. Since you've been across the world, you probably won't mind that he's in Osaka?
[OOC: Kenya would like that very very MUCH. In turn he can take Kamio on a ride with his motorcycle. ~_^]

Thanks! Osaka is fine, I have a plane that could get me there and back in an hour.
((ooc: Kamio has a very impressive car collection, Kenya is free to borrow one if he wants! Ah, Kamio hasn't ventured into the world of motorbikes, so that will be an eyeopener for him! He'd love that!))

I think that's one win for you, Kamio!
[OOC: It's settled then! Yay for fast and furios - the speed stars style!]
no subject
Excellent! I've been waiting to get one up on you in the speed stakes for years!
((ooc: Ah, Kamio's favourite movie! ^^ I can so see them speeding through the streets and getting stopped by the police! XD))

[OOC: If they can catch them, that is.]
